With knee pads, it all starts with the type of padding you have at the front of the knee, which is the area that takes the most impact from a hit or a fall. The Surpass features two layers of protection- An impact dispersing, plastic outer plate along with their industry leading impact absorbing SmartShock foam. The plastic outer protective "cup" not only is abrasion resistant, but acts as an additional outer shield. SmartShock foam technology is located behind that cup and is impact tested and certified to the highest level of CE impact protection, so you know you are getting the best possible rated protection. A thigh and calf cinch help prevent slippage and are fully adjustable and are customizable to all shapes, widths and sizes of knees. To take advantage of this free mounting, you must provide your Boot Sole Length (BSL) by messaging us. If this is for a NORDIC ski, we just need your EU boot size in order to mount.  Since eBay requires sellers offering 1-day handling to ship within 24 hours of payment, and mounting takes some time, your item will ship unmounted if the BSL is not provided at time of payment.

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
