Product application
This live center has a combination of needle roll bearing, P5 class ball thrust bearing, and deep groove ball bearing.
It's application to medium to high speed machining with heavy duty load on CNC lathe.
Adjustable needle roller bearing carry all radial loads while heavy duty ball thrust bearing carry all axial loads.
With external shrink sleeve on the needle bearing, the clearance of the needle roller bearing can be adjusted to improve the precision and service life of the live center.
The rotation spindle is made from bearing steel with heat treated to HRc 60+/-2 for high rigidity and wear resistance.
Extra long spindle point extends into deep groove ball bearing supported shank to effectively improve rotating performance and reduce vibration.
Lubricant can be added into the live center body to maintain lubrication on the bearing.
Built-in oil seal protects bearing against ingress of coolant, dirt, and swarf.
